I have some chicken thighs and legs and want to make dinner tonight :) . Preferably I would only like to spend 30 mins cooking so and quick recipes would be great. Also, i aint cooked tht many things so anything easy wud be great aswell =).

The quickest thing to do with chicken by far, is cut it into strips and fry it with rice.

    yeah my dad made an insane bird this year by taking a beer and poring half of it out and sticking it in the birds butt and roasting it on the barbeque!

    chinese spice and soy sauce rub…let it marinade and cook
    lemon and thyme rub – let it marinade and cook

    Coat them in a mix of oil, smoked paprika, garlic pepper and thyme and then put them in a roasting dish with some potatoes, carrots and sausages and let them roast in the oven for about 30 mins. Serve with fresh veg and gravy.

    dip the chicken in egg and then in flour and fry. serve with a sauce or plane with salt yammy!!! =)

    Chicken and rice Casserole

    1 pound boneless chicken breasts (or pork chops)
    1 can beef or chicken gravy
    1 can beef or chick stock/broth
    1 large onion sliced
    1 bell pepper sliced (optional)
    1 tomato sliced (optional)
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    2 cups water
    1 cup uncooked regular rice
    1 large baking dish sprayed with Pam
    Salt & pepper

    Preheat oven to 375
    Season meat and lightly brown in a pan
    Take prepared pan and spread out the uncooked rice
    When meat is brown place on top of rice
    Pour over gravy and broth
    Add onions, bell pepper and tomato slices over each piece of meat
    and then pour over the water

    Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove
    foil and bake another 5-10 minutes or until most of the
    liquid is absorbed or cook less if you want juicer rice.

    Cut the meat off the bones. Season with some curry powder and onion and garlic powder. Add some olive oil (about a tablespoon) into a pan and pan fry it. If you have some brown rice add sea salt and some green vegetables (preferably broccoli or green beans) and you have a meal!

    Edit* Add some basil, garlic powder, onion powder and sea salt to the thigh and drumsticks. Marinate for about an hour if you want the seasoning to sink in. Bake at 350-400 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Goes great with brown rice.
