I am cooking some bone in chicken thighs.
What temperature (on the oven) do I cook these at? For how long?
Being a cook as as profession, meats can be cooked at temperatures as low as 250 deg. It is best to place the chicken into a hot skillet before putting it in the oven. Sear both sided of the seasoned meat in light oil till brown. The oven should always be preheated to the desired temperature. Remember a fast oven is at a temperature above 375, and a slow oven is at a temperature below 350. Is the oven a convection type? This will speed things up a bit. Is the poultry bone in? This will make the cooking time longer.

I usually cook them at 425. Takes about 25-30 minutes. You’ll need to poke them to make sure they are done.
