I make chicken drumsticks on the outdoor gas grill. First i boil it in water until its done, and then i spray the racks well on my outdoor gas grill with pam and heat the grill. The problem i am having is, when i put the chicken on the grill and turn the drumsticks to brown the other side, the chicken sticks to the grill rack and i wind up losing lots of the chicken since it sticks to the racks. How can i prevent this from happening? Thanks for any advice.

dont move the chicken until it is thoroughly brown..after that it will easily let go of the grill..you are moving it too soon…

try putting them in aluminum foil first, making a sort of pouch to cook them in. put the chicken in the middle of a large piece of greased foil, fold one half over the chicken, then the other side, and then the ends. if you want them directly on the grill try brushing oil, not cooking spray on the grill, and put more on as you cook.

Keep your grill rack well-scrubbed, your chicken room-temp and oiled lightly, and don’t think you have to turn them every 3 seconds.

Look up the Weber (grill) cookbooks. Can’t go wrong.

Dry thoroughly and lightly oil the chicken that should help.

Cook it on foil that you have pokes holes in to let the smoky flavor thur. Still oil the foil.
    Enjoy.
