Can anyone tell me where to buy the transparent wrapper to wrap a chicken when cooking Emperor chicken in Singapore? The recipe calls wrapping the chicken in the clear wrapper, followed by alumnium foil. I don’t know where to buy the right wrapper…
It is simply clear plastic wrap like Saran wrap or the kind you wrap food in to refrigerate. It should be near the foil in a market or store. Since you’re steaming the chicken, there is no danger of the plastic wrap melting.
