I have some Fried Chicken patties in the oven right now. I want to make chicken parmesan. Will tomatoe paste work or should I use tomato sauce. And is mozzarella cheese or parmesan cheese right?
I know its parmesan chicken but some of the other recipes on here have mozarella cheese as one of the ingrediants so thats why im not sure.

When the patties are almost done place a slice of mozzarella of provolone cheese on top of each patty and melt the cheese. Serve with tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce on top.

I find that dark meat chicken works best in a slow cooker. I don’t find the white meat rubbery but it does get very dry. This is masked by sauce a lot of times, but it’s dry nevertheless.

Plus I think dark meat tastes better. We prefer drumsticks.

I make chicken parm with boneless, skinless breasts that I pound out to make them even thickness. Then I coat them in flour, seasoned egg and a mixture of crumbs and parmesan cheese.

Oven fry them for 20 minutes or so.

Serve ontop of spaghetti with homemade sauce fromthe freezer and some gooey provolone and mozarella cheese. Crisp salad and garlic bread.

This is an excellent dinner that you can make in under an hour. The leftovers make excellent sammies for next day’s lunch.
